"Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart."
— Winnie the Pooh
I want to capture those things and moments with you.
I know family sessions can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, especially with little ones involved. Please don’t worry about perfectly posed moments or perfectly behaved kids. Some of the most meaningful photographs come from the quiet in-between moments: the cuddles, laughter, movement, and love you share naturally as a family. My goal is simply to create a calm space where you can be yourselves.

Want your kids to have fun during photos?
Here are my go-to tricks:
Let them move. Fighting a toddler to sit still = misery for everyone.
I work with their energy, not against it.
Make it fun. I tell jokes, play games, ask silly questions.
The best smiles come from real laughter, not 'say cheese!'
Time it right.
Schedule sessions when they're usually happy.
Not during nap time or when they're hungry.
Let go of perfection.
The 'imperfect' moments - messy hair, silly faces, movement
are often the ones you'll treasure most.
My favorite photos of my own are the ones where we are
playing in the river throwing rocks or playing in the snow!
It's never perfect, and that's what makes it real. ❤️
